Bequests
A bequest is a gift that you nominate in your Will. Bequest funding has facilitated much of Lishman Health Research’s previous research.
A gift in your Will is a practical way to leave an enduring legacy to support Lishman Health Research in the quest to improve the health of future generations within regional Australia and can be used to enable researchers to address health issues that are specific to the regions. Your bequest would honour your memory and your foresight would impact on the health of future generations.
We would be pleased to discuss your wishes and answer your questions if you would like to email us at admin@lishmanhealth.org.au or by phone on 0475 705 417.
Bequests and donations to Lishman Health Research have supported research, informing policy and providing practical improvements in regional health outcomes. A recent example is the funds used to undertake the Suicide Prevention project and to develop the online multi-media training program for GPs to identify and manage suicidal patients. Many GPs from across Australia have already completed this training, filling a vital need within our community. For more information on the training package please click here.
A bequest can be a natural extension of the support someone has been giving over the years, a way to make a difference and leave a legacy in something they are passionate about.
“Lishman Health Research does such important work to improve the health of regional Australians. A bequest is something that I can do to support their work in the future. By giving through my Will, I have the potential to make a much greater impact than I can with my relatively small annual donations.”
Margaret
